STEP 2 : REGISTER YOUR ACCOUNT

Click The Signup Button at the bottom of the form on the portal page , Click this button and you will be redirected to the ESS registration Page !

STEP 3 : FILL THE FORM

The Form Will ask for these 4 things :

  1. Check number : The first field is of check number and you have to give that , All the civil servants in tanzania have a unique check number , You can get this from your employer !
  2. National ID : The second Field demands Your National ID , Fill it and provide the whole 20 characters including the Regional Code !
  3. Email Address : The Third fields demand a Email Address , Make sure you fill it with a valid one , you have access to and is secure , because you will get notifications there and be able to access to your account incase you forget the password !
  4. Email Confirmation : An extra Field , All you have to do is Re-Enter the Email address you enter in the above field to ensure your email is correct !

STEP 2 : ENTER USERNAME AND PASSWORD

A login form will appear on your screen with 2 Fields , just like the Screenshot Below , Type Username in the first and Password In Second , ( Your Check number is your username and the password can be found in the confirmation mail in your inbox that was sent by the online portal on Successful Registration )

STEP 3 : LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT

After filling up the both fields , Click the Login button and you will be able to Login into the portal if Your Details are correct !

It may send OTP to your registered Mail , If you are logining in first time from a new device !

Incase you forget your Portal’s Password , All you have to do is follow these simple steps to regain access to your account :

  1. Head to the Login page
  2. You will See a reset password button just like in the ss below , Click it
  3. Reset Portal Password
  4. After clicking the Rest Password button , You will be redirected to Recovery page

WHAT IS PEPMIS ?

The ( PEPMIS ) in Ess Utumishi Portal Stands for Performance Evalution Module , One of the most amazing feature of the portal that fills in the gap between the employee and employer , The Employers can set the tasks within it , track progress and send notifications !

You can add your supervisors on PEPMIS by entering thier name in the ” Set Supervisor ” Section .

WHAT ARE ALERTS IN THE PEPMIS ?

The portal will send you a alret each time you are assigned a task by your supervisor , There are 3 kind of alrets, Each representing something :

  • GREEN ALERT : The green alert notification means that you still have plenty of time left to submit your work or complete the task provided by your Supervisor !
  • YELLOW ALERT : The Yellow alret indicates to having short time to complete and submit a task
  • RED ALERT : An urgency Alert , Meaning that you have tight deadline or small amount of time and that you must complete and submit your task as soon as possible !
